It is the monthly Sinful Sunday prompt time again. This time Molly has chosen a technical prompt. As always, I worried for ages about the technical side of the challenge and my picture only came when I wasn’t thinking about the technique at all. When I saw this picture from the set that my man took last weekend, I knew it was the one I wanted to play with.

imageI have worked on this picture several times as I found it hard to decide how strong to make the filter. When I saw this version, it was instantly my favourite. I hope you like it too.

Who else is being Sinful this Sunday?

  1. I don’t know if this was your intention, but picking a colour that so closely matches your blog makes this a very harmonious, serene feeling image.
The way it pulls out some details, like the indentation in the pillow, and obscures others, like the flowers, is really interesting too

  2. Oh yes – I agree with Indy – it is an overall harmony there.
I love the shot too – so candid and beatiful – such a story going on with the bouquet in the background. Lovely choice of filter x x

  3. The more I look at this, the more I like the composition. Feet don’t always get a lot of love, but I really like the gentle curl of the smaller toes, and what’s in the background takes it from sweet to erotic.

    1. I agree with you. I adore feet and it’s not often they get the love I feel they deserve. This image shows the cuteness of feet by showing the curls of toes. Love this image and the color filter.

  4. Oddly blue tends to give a cool or even cold feel to an image but that is not the case here. It feels cool but in the summertime breeze kind of way if that makes sense

  5. I love this picture, especially the way your toes are gripping the bedsheets. And the blue filter is great, it’s soft and bright. It’s so good! Xxx

  6. I love the perspective here as well as the composition. Having your body on the edge with the flowers in the center is really lovely. The color works perfectly.
