It is Sinful Sunday prompt time again. This time the challenge is to produce an abstract image. Luckily for me, Molly posted some links to guides to abstract photography. I enlisted the help of my man to zoom in for this one.

I have fiddled with filters on these images and now I have two that I want to share. I wouldn’t have tried an abstract picture without the prompt, so I have to thank Molly for making me learn about something new.

  1. Ohhhh thats rather lovely, I have a wonderful double ended curved NJoy steel, Makes me shudder and squeak with pleasure! I hope yours does the same for you. I do love the lighting and the way you have caught it all. Thank you for sharing.

  2. That’s really cool. I also would never have attempted an abstract photo without the prompt. He’ll I wound have even less of an idea than I do now about what an abstract photo even was

  3. This is a very cool picture! My main reason for popping up though is to say thank you so much for choosing my picture from Exhibit A’s anonymous post for your round-up this week. It was a lovely surprise! Xx

  4. These are wonderful! On the first image, when I couldn’t really read the words on the toy I thought “Oooh, is this a Lord of the Rings reference?” Because the silver looked for all the world like a ring of some sort. I guess that’s the beauty of an abstract image, it allows the eye to see all sorts of things 🙂

  5. These are so, so clever. I didn’t scroll down to the second image immediately and was really looking for a few seconds to work out what part of the body you had captured. Adore the filters – that bruised green toning is delicious – and I love that you have made the plug and your bottom so unique and different. Brilliant. Jane xxx
