The clean sheet holds such potential. It can become anything. It is both liberating and intimidating. I like to make sure that my mood is right. A glass of drink in reach and a cosy mood so that I feel ready to relax into the art.
The first mark unlocks a new world and a new image is begun.
Great shot and a brilliant idea. 🙂
Thank you!
Sometimes it’s scary to make that first mark, but once you do, it’s like what happens on paper has a life of its own. I would love to see the end product of this.

Hopefully it will be something to share when finished.
I can’t draw, so I see the picture and get stressed out with the pressure to create.
But I love your words with it, and a drink always helps
I am not particularly good but I enjoy the process.
And the same applies to flesh…. unmarked, a blank canvas to be altered…

I can’t draw but I can see that the first mark is hard just like the first word can be when writing.

This is so lovely. The candle and the wine and a blank white sheet. I love a blank page.
All looks very therapeutic! Xx
Gorgeous imagery – in words & pictures. I hope you share the finished product.
Whether is a blank page, a blank screen or unmarked flesh, that first mark starts to tell the story.
Well done images!! Such simpleness is incredible.

Great imagery with your words.
Love this concept and the image!
The first mark is always so full of potential.
Wine and candles always set the stage so nicely 🙂
