A kiss can be an utterly intimate, powerful thing. A teasing touch. The slightest grazing of flesh. A hint of more. A gentle caress.

A kiss can be an utterly passionate, powerful thing. A bruising pressure. The dynamic hunger matched. A breathless connection. A complete act.

Of course there are other types of kisses too but when it comes to Kink of the Week, these are the two that I think of. Kissing is more important to me than I ever realised as a teenager. Those long teenage kisses were fun and a real pleasure but they never moved me like a kiss can now.

Now, kisses are a powerful force. Being teased with not quite enough, just out of reach, that smug grin all too clear will turn me into a begging puddle of desperate need. My mind will snarl with frustration whilst my body betrays me. I want to deny my love of those teasing kisses, but the fact that I will always stretch, desperate to reach shows the truth in a more honest way.

Then there are the passionate kisses that are more than a meeting of lips and tongues. The searching, bruising connection. The bruising pressure and the hunger that is stronger than the impulse to breathe. These kisses take over my mind and body until I forget who and where I am. These kisses take me from the everyday to the same magical place as an orgasm or a perfect spanking. I don’t know which chemicals they flood through my body, but I am certainly craving and becoming addicted to.

A kiss is rarely just a meeting of lips. It can be many things but to me, it is always a shared act which fits that moment in time.

I have been in a relationship with someone who didn’t like to kiss. It wasn’t easy but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make at the time. As all I knew about kissing was those teenage smooches, giving them up was sad but not the end of the world. Now that I know the true power of a kiss, I would not make that sacrifice again. Kissing me is part of the deal to be with me.

I’m stopping now and just taking a moment to think about one of those hand in your hair, bodies pressed together, totally connected, the world doesn’t matter kisses.
