My fingers playing over your flesh, tracing the shapes of your ink and marvelling at how it fits with your body. Following the form and feeling the connection with the part of you who chose to let that image be expressed to be shared with the world.

I don’t think that I have a kink for tattoos. I don’t seek out partners that have them and I don’t find someone more attractive just because they have tattoos. But if I am with someone who has them, I will sink into the joy of exploring and adoring the art of their body.

I currently have three tattoos. After having one for many years, I have added two more. The artwork on my body has personal meaning for me and having the ink woven into my flesh weaves the strength and intention into my soul. I know that me tattoos have been created by a talented artist but they also feel as though they have been pulled through my skin from within me.

My triskelion represents the balance of past, present and future and the symbiotic equilibrium of mind, body and spirit. The addition of this tattoo to my chest coincided with me becoming more deeply in tune with myself and with understanding and accepting my needs.

When Exposing40 takes you into the woods to take pictures of your new tattoo, it’s an almost impossible task to choose just one to share.

My newest tattoo is a celebration of me. I am firmly rooted and strong in who I am. The trunk is twisted because I am twisted and it is that which makes me amazing for just being me. The tree is in leaf and full of life and movement because I am absolutely thriving and flourishing now that I am unapologetically me.

Here is a glimpse of an amazing time that I spent with Wild Lens where we wrote all over each other.

So when we are together,  let your eyes, hands, mouth, anything you want, explore the whole of me and explore the strength and  connection that those tattoos give me.

Sinful Sunday

  1. I love that each of your tattoos is such a beautiful piece of artwork, and that they have such special meaning for you. I feel privileged to have seen (and decorated!) them.

  2. Holy tits, this is amazing. Your tattoo is gorgeous and I love the meaning behind it. Exposing 40’s photo of you against the tree with your nipple so prominent and your tattoo on display is truly stunning.

  3. Your tattoos are too pretty to regret. But it still seems to me that the human body is so beautiful that it does not require additional decorations and deserves to admire it, and not what is written on it.

  4. Honey this is so frigging beautiful and I love the story that goes with it. You are an amazing person and I love that I can call you my friend
