Out of the five senses, touch is the one that means the most to me. I crave it and seek it. I touch things, and I touch people – consensually, of course. The sense of touch is a gateway to many more senses.

This touch is more than the feedback that comes from the beautiful sensation of their irresistibly smooth skin. It’s the touch of intimacy. Of being with someone who I adore and care about. It’s more than resting my skin against theirs. It’s holding them and being unable to resist putting kisses on their shoulder while the photo is taken. It’s calm, contentment of being totally together and comfortable together, seasoned with the possibility that this touch may change from resting to stimulating.

This touch is simplicity in the same way that the best relationships are. Full of care, togetherness, and the entire world of connection and possibilities.

What a perfect way to start a day and a year.
Sinful Sunday

  1. This is a lovely post. I can struggle with touch but your photo reminds of what I do like and find comforting.
