A few weeks ago, Jaffa drew my attention to a ‘recreate this‘ tweet and said that we would have an opportunity to do it. I love and hate ‘recreate this’ opportunities. I adore the inspiration but really struggle with whether my version is acceptable or even welcomed.
However, when Jaffa is involved, I always have more self belief that when I am on my own. It’s as if I get to see myself through his eyes, and that is an incredibly powerful thing.
The moments of taking these images were beautiful to me. Time stopped while we got into the pose and let the other one see us and take the image. One of the most wonderful things is having your image taken by someone you trust and who you know adores you. We both had that feeling, and as you can see, the images are truly stunning. I’ve returned to these images many times since then. I honestly love both of them so much.

I think this is brilliant, I’ve always shied away from the recreate this images because I just don’t look right or can’t bend in the right direction. But you’ve shown me all I need to do is feel comfortable and have a bit of a giggle trying.
They are both brilliant and together there is something really powerful about them. I too recreated that image but posted it on Twitter. It might appear on my blog at some point though
