It is the monthly Sinful Sunday prompt weekend and the prompt is words beginning with ‘i’.
Isolation: the state of being alone or kept apart from others.
Synonyms for isolation: aloneness, insulation, privacy, secludedness, seclusion, segregation, separation, solitariness, solitude.
Words related to isolation: loneliness, vacuum, confinement, incarceration, internment, quarantine.
I am happy to be put into isolation as part of a scene. To wait, vulnerable with the buzz of anticipation mixing with fear of what will come next. Desperation building while I focus on maintaining my calm. The hyper-vigilance that comes with those moments of isolation makes every sensation and experience that follows supercharged. Waiting, knowing that my body will soon be flooded with endorphins and heated response.
That’s the sort of isolation that I like. Not this quarantine that stops me from seeing partners and fills my life with the bad sort of fear.
Yes, I know exactly what you mean.
And it would certainly be nice to find such a lovely sight in my garden right now.
Lovely !!!

Pardon me but I do believe a certain something has just grown in MY ‘garden’ at the sight of what’s in YOUR garden.
Holy shit, Honey – there is such a sexy, rawness about this image! This is HOT AF x
Bloody beautiful as always you minx x
I hadn’t though of isolation in this way…as a tool. But I can see how it would encourage feelings that could be used positively.
That is a fabulous image and I know exactly what you mean. The building of anticipation is amazing!

The difference between types of isolation is so stark in your words and the image is so beautiful
I’m with you completely, I’m done with being trapped at home isolated from those I want to be with. Whilst I’m lucky I have my person with me I am just done with it now.
And I love this image, it is so raw and yet so fun.
A very artsy picture! I also enjoy the sort of isolation in play that leaves you anticipating. You described that really well.
Yes I am totally with you on isolation, the current state of things is not the type of isolation that I can enjoy.
